"A vida é assim:"
Sometimes, there are things that you have to do even if you don't want to. Although you can't feign spirituality or sincere goodness, you can just do it anyway...
Oh, and Kombucha is tasty. Topeka, er, Google it.

Return to Roots
Howdy.
I've been thinking a lot lately about my priorities, and it's been a productive and enjoyable exercise to sort through the time-consuming aspects of my life and try to pick out the best ones. Part of my conclusion has been that I need to blog more. You're welcome, readers. :)
Anyhow, as part of this I'm going to try to keep more with the theme of the blog, therefore I share with you all the following: I'm eating a tuna and hummus (red pepper) sandwich, and it's amazing. Totally not what I expected. So y'all can expect to see this thing popping up in sandwich shops around town, though I hope they'll give me some royalties for the ideas. Pita Pit and I are about to become good friends. And believe me, you're gonna want some.

Ready to Have Your Mind Blown Apart?
Howdy folks,
I know it's been awhile, but I was shown something so outrageously interesting to me that I can't help but sharing. Props to my brother Robbie and his wife Tamra for sending me these links:
http://www.westonaprice.org/The-Skinny-on-Fats.html
http://www.the-zone-diet-plan.com/zone-diet-science.html
As near as I can tell, these are as good as it gets when it comes to real information regarding the misinformation common in our Western culture regarding diets.
That's right, those articles are about FATS and all their glory. Long story short: there's a myth about lipids, and they're not what's causing obesity. There's a lot more than that, if you're willing to read it all. I, for one, feel a big change coming in my own life.
PEACE

Science and Religious Practice
I know that there is a danger in wanting to "prove" a belief to be right based on an unrelated and (what ultimately amounts to an) anecdotal scientific study, but I found the link here to be pretty fascinating.
This article basically shows how "not eating is good for you." In other words, fasting is as good for your body as it is your spirit.
We always knew there were benefits, but here they are, confirmed.

I found it!!
It's a relic of my freshman year at BYU, used to pass cleaning checks with flying colors, and boy was this stuff awesome. I didn't realize how great I had it 'til I was trying to deep clean my old apartment's shower back in April.
Woo!
Seriously, this stuff is great. I'm not getting paid to say this.
www.buyshowerpower.com (It's not in stores anymore. . . yet. That probably makes no sense)

You know how there are some things you see and go, "I wish I woulda had one of those when. . .?"
Hello again, readership!
I know I´ve let you all down whilst here in the southern hemisphere by not really writing, erm, ever, but a recent development has come to my attention that I thought you should all know about.

Yes, Fido may now rest in peace, not in pieces.
